Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 August 2026.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Upgrade To Scale Ltd (“Upgrade to Scale,” “we,” “us”), company registration number 556726-7918, Lyckogången 94, 135 54 Tyresö, Sweden, is the data controller. Questions about your data: mia@upgradeleaders.com.

2. What we collect

Information you give us — name, email, billing details, your answers in tools like the Booking Consistency Scorecard, and anything you share in a form or strategy call. Information collected automatically — basic, privacy-friendly usage analytics without cross-site tracking.

3. How we use it

To deliver the programs and services you buy, respond to your enquiries, send order and onboarding emails, and — only with your consent — send marketing emails. We do not sell your data.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process your data under: performance of a contract (delivering what you purchased), your consent (marketing emails), and our legitimate interests (running and improving the site). You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Who we share it with

We use trusted third parties to run our business: ThriveCart (checkout and payments), Resend (email delivery), Supabase (data storage, hosted in the EU), Vercel (website hosting and analytics), and TidyCal (call booking). Each processes your data only to provide their service under a data-processing agreement.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) and set no non-essential cookies. If that ever changes, a consent mechanism will be shown before any such cookies load.

7. Personal links we send you

When we send you a personal document — a proposal, a client page — the link contains a private code so we know which document to show you. Opening it records that it was opened, and when. We do this so we know whether the document reached you and whether to follow up, and because sending a proposal into silence helps neither of us. We store the time of the visit and nothing else: no cookie is placed on your device, and we do not record your IP address, your browser or your location. These links are private and are not indexed by search engines. If you would rather we did not record visits to your document, tell us and we will send you a plain copy by email instead.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and accounting obligations (accounting records are kept for seven years under Swedish law). If you unsubscribe from marketing, we stop sending immediately and keep only what those obligations require.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email mia@upgradeleaders.com. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

10. International transfers

Your data is primarily stored in the EU. Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA (for example, email delivery), the transfer is covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in that provider’s data-processing agreement.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published here; material changes are announced by email to active subscribers and clients.
